   • Foundation's National Research Program is one of the most important sources of funding for scientists conducting kidney-related research, providing over one third of all funding available in Canada.
4. Generating awareness about organ donation
   
   • The Kidney Foundation is working with representatives from healthcare, industry and government to improve organ donation rates.
